Consultation on scheme document and changes to levy system
The Minister of Consumer Affairs has approved proposed amendments to the Scheme rules.
The Commission is required (by clause 7.10F of the Constitution) to determine the date those amendments come into force.
The Commission has resolved:
1. The amendments restructuring the document and changing levies come into force on 1 April 2011.
2. The amendments removing the power of the Board to expel members come into force on 7 April 2011.
